Re: Relocation of mailing list?: msg#00012science.chemistry.blue-obelisk
All - Couple of thoughts: 1. Keeping BO on a school server or on SF is one way, I might also highly recommend using google groups for the mailing list service and their ongoing feature growth. With the search capabilities and the chance to reference the material once again might be a good idea. Moderation is easy, and having an archive has always been extremely helpful. 2. Red Hen Spectra is getting close for your feedback. Would any of you be interested in chatting with our software development team next week where we are banging on about the coding. If you would like to have an account and have a go at the service, we would be happy to set you up. It seems that someone at KnowItAll was checking out the site recently, and I would be happy to show off our work if they are on this list. Thanks for your help, if you so choose. We are very excited by the efforts and any feedback from real spectroscopists would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Sanford On 5/8/07, Christoph Steinbeck <c.steinbeck@xxxxxxxxxxxx
