Hi,
The software suspend (http://mhensler.de/swsusp/index_en.php) is what
gives me the most "problems", I'm running FC3 on a laptop and the
suspend to ram works but I really want suspend to disk. Software Suspend
seems to have what it takes and they have a lot of ready-tu-use kernels
but of course the moment I install one of those I lose all ATrpms
goodness (like the nvidia kernel modules).
I would really love to have S3 suspend (disk or ram) for my Mythtv box.
I have attempted suspend to ram for my Mythtv box, but it will lockup
within seconds after waking up. The lockup is caused by dma errors to
disk and I haven't been able to solve it (nforce2).
But suspend to disk definitely beats suspend to ram. It will enable me
to turn on or off my mythbox a lot quicker.
I will do anything I can to help if this gets added.
