Yes, the NFS root option is attractive. But in-kernel NFS root has all
sorts of problems. We'd far prefer to have eventual support in the
initrd for NFS mounting, and avoid the kernel issue altogether.
Interesting, I guess I'll give explicit mounts inside the initrd a try then.
