Unfortunately, they did not fix the problem for me; the new kernel did add a
new one though. I have a 3Com 3c905B NIC using the kernel-included 3c59x
module. The new 109 kernel complains about a whole list of parameters it
doesn't like (which, of course, I forgot to write down); thus the module
won't load under the 109 kernel. I'm still baffled, especially since the
updates fixed the issue for you Rich.
