Hi.
I have a strange problem with the nvidia-beta-drivers. When I directly boot
into runlevel 5 everything seems to be fine until the x server starts. Then I
only get a black screen. Mouse and keyboard do not work (so I cannot switch
to an terminal). But I can access this pc through ssh.
If I boot into runlevel 3 and do a startx, I see the Nvidia-Logo (with beta)
and can use gnome, openbox, whatever. If I kill this xserver and do an init
5, gdm is showing up normally. But if I boot into runlevel 3 and after that
directly into runlevel 5 I have the same problem.
Selinux is disabled and there are no entries in Xorg.0.log and messages. It
sounds like the problem described here:

The stable drivers are working fine.
Any hints?
