I totally agree with Michael.

With a 137 MHz antenna, the PCR-1000 (at 50 kHz BW), and WXtoImg software
you can completely automate the capture and processing of very good quality
APT images.

If you already have the PCR-1000, you can get started with a simple
turnstile antenna and WXtoImg for about USD $100.

In my opinion, the PCR1000 isn't that bad, maybe there isn't an IF bandwidth

of 40Khz available, but then you could choose 50Khz, it is pretty close...



Also you may want to check www.wxtoimg.com, it's a very decent piece of

software for decoding WX-SAT, and has the ability to control some of the

radios/scanners in the market (including PCR100 an 1000).
