the differences must be in the decimal point!
this site http://felidaeworld.com/hematology.html says range is 2-12. That's
way different than what either of us has.
this site http://www.thepetcenter.com/pha/cp.html Eosinophils x1000/ul
0.0-1.5 So they multiply by 1,000
This one http://www.cathelp-online.com/health/glossary2.php
says 0-1500
I'm totally lost--not my field to be able to read these lab values. But on the
chart that comes with Rosebud's and Woodstock's lab work, they are just barely
over the mark for 'high'

Cyndee,
WOW, lab values certainly are different. Here is Mrs. Toonsis EOS:
EOS: 3078 (range is 0 -1,000)
Neutrophils 8550 (range is 2500 - 8500)
This has been a great topic of discussion. I am too looking for
answers.

> For comparison (even though labs differ) can we give info on our
cats' EOS levels?:
> Rosebud .91 (normal range .10-.79)
> Woodstock .85 (normal .10-.79)

> SEAN, and anyone else--do you have any comments on EOS, causes of
being high, the discussions re: karina's Hobbes having high EOS and
diseases caused by it?
