Re: Cyndee "beta-thym": msg#00783

Subject: Re: Cyndee "beta-thym"
Cyndee, thanks for the information. PLEASE keep me posted if this
makes a difference for your kitties. In the meantime I will do a
search on the internet. I need to schedule a follow up for Mrs.
Toonsis as to next steps and want to get a handle on beta-thym.

Woodstock's meant allergy, but his EOS wasn't high before last
month. Holistic vet said it could be an inflammation, so Wood
started back on Beta-thym--it is plant sterols and thymus gland.
He's only been on it a few days and next blood work is in about 2
weeks, so I don't know if that will be enough time for it to work
and see any results. I'll let everyone know, but you might want to
check out Beta-thym with your vet--although it is not prescription,
you can buy it on the web, but I'm not sure I'd take it w/o vet
recommendation since it is a natural steroid.
