i am glad that you understand, Emily.. that is exactly what was making me so
upset.. i honestly don't understand how anyone could abuse anything.. it is
beyond me.
i guess that this is just dredging up things in my past which i had hoped
wouldn't come to the surface.. the "funny" thing is that i too was abused as a
child, and now it makes even more sense as to why little Hobbes came into my
life.. i had three kitties [his brother Taz died suddenly in July], and Hobbes
has always been the one that i have been extra protective of, and closest
to.. maybe something in my subconscious knew that he had been hurt, and that
is
why i was so protective of him?
