Karina, my heart is hurting for you. I have to agree with Simone. I
won't do any more tests on Lizzie unless the results will determine a
treatment. I see no point otherwise. Maybe I'm missing something on
this, so someone tell me if I am. Bone marrow biopsy is invasive and
very painful, and we nearly lost our Lizzie following hers -- and it
was inconclusive anyway. I won't do that to her again. All I can tell
you for comfort is what my husband keeps telling me, because Lizzie
was obviously abused before we adopted her: Without us, Hobbes and
Lizzie would still have had their disease, but they would never have
known love and security and kindness.
