Valerie,
If it is small cell, I would not expect Emily to respond to the
Leukeran and prednisone in a week. The specialist we saw originally
said 4-8 weeks, and it was 8 weeks before I saw a turn around.
Originally my cat was on Leukeran and prednisone, but in about two
weeks the vet changed it to Leukeran and Dexamethasone, which is a
different type of steroid.
