Harbourfrieght has one sale for $49.95 a
great tabletop stoves both with two burners and a small grill and tiny
oven in the middle.
I took out my big old clunky stove also, and used
the space for storage.
We have never done any baking in our RV, and the
microwave works for us when we are at an RV park.
I do have a small propane tabletop unit for cooking
if needed.
Personally I was glad to get rid of the old stove,
and save on Gas in the process, that old thing was very heavy.
I love this stove, and its pretty solid, and chrome
plated.
Check it out:

Subject: [toyota-campers] Basic
definition question: Cooktops
Hello again,
I took the Wedgewood stove out of my
Dolphin and scrapped it. I am
interested in replacing it with a cooktop
(I'm not much into
baking...;-D...).
There are plenty of options at
various RV stores, but I'm a bit
confused...
What is the difference
between a "drop-in" cooktop and a "slide-in"
cooktop?
Given that the
hole in my counter is about 20" X 20" looking from
above and 20" X 16"
looking from the front, I don't quite see how it
would matter which way the
cooktop goes into the hole.
Thanks for your help.
