Auto-trans question: How much does having the fluid cooler help?: msg#00945recreation.cars.toyota.campers
Hello everybody, I've seen a lot of discussion about overheating issues on the 4-cyl/auto equipped Toyhouses. Does having a trans fluid cooler help significantly? My '86 Dolphin is equipped with one and an old National RV/Dolphin brochure that came with the coach indicates that they added that feature in mid-1985. Also, my dash has a "Trans Temp Warning" light. Will that be enough to ward off serious trouble or should I get an actual gauge to monitor trans temp? Thanks for your input Buzz L.
