Re: considering a Dolphin: msg#00876recreation.cars.toyota.campers
I've had the same, excellent service experience with Winnebago/Itasca. Actually, I've bought my parts through the "factory dealer," Lichstinn Motors. I've called a half a dozen times for various small trim/electrical items. My going-in thought was that they'd consider me a nuisance (old, fairly rare rig). The opposite has really been the case. They seem to take pride at the challenge of finding the part you need for an older rig. Of course, I usually look through the parts catalog ahead of time and have a pretty good idea of what I need: http://www.winnebagoind.com/~service/submenu/Fiche1.htm JeffM 93 Warrior --- In toyota-campers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "rollin298" <rollin298@...> wrote: > > > Hi Dianne and Paige > Thought I might throw this out there for folks considering a Toyota > mini MH. > I bought a 1988 Itasca 19' by Winnebago Ind. a while back mainly > because it had the and floor plan I was after, it was 10 miles away, > had the right axle and wheel set up, and had good oil pressure. > I later discovered, when trying to find a missing aluminum wheel well > trim item, that Winnebago still supports this 88 as well as other > models.
