Furnace oddities.: msg#00863recreation.cars.toyota.campers
Is it possible to "flood" a furnace? I used to believe that the sparker was in bad shape because it only seemed to work initally. After a few attempts it probably would not work again until it "rested" a while. That is what seemed to happen again tonight after I thought I had fixed it. I went looking for a propane leak around the new pilot line. I used a lighter ( yes, I know all about it). What I found was what appeared to be propane leaking out of the combustian chamber like it was full of the gas. It did not explode, it just slowly burned. As usual, after the rest, the pilot lit the first time. I am starting to think that the combustian chamber can fill with propane gas and cause a lack of oxygen. The spark might be good, but the propane does not have enough oxygen to ignite. Is this possible? Dan Yahoo!
