Extending the life of automatic trannys: msg#00865recreation.cars.toyota.campers
To reduce wear and heat build-up in automatic transmissions, is it better to remain in "Drive" when stopped at a long light (like two minutes or more) or, is it better to shift into "Neutral" until the light changes and you're ready to go?
