the ac unis are made to fit right in the existing vent hole. if you are lucky, (another savannah owner would know) the wire for the ac will be coiled to one side when you remove the vent.

 

my toy came with a regular home ac cut through the side (flush on the outside) above the fridge. seems like the cheep way to go, although it is kind of the "redneck" way to do it..

I have an 1987 toyota Trailmaster Savanah and would like to put a roof
air conditioner in.  I am not sure what type I need.  I wouldn't need
any ducting because I would like to put it in the middle were my roof
vent is.  Any suggestions.  I have only been in rving for 9 months. 
Any help would be appreciate.
