For those unlucky enough to find themselves owning
a Lasharo, there is an after-market kit that allows you to remove and discard
the Renault drive line and replace it with the drive line from a V-6 Buick
Regal. The 3.8L Buick V-6 does a nice job pulling the Lasharo.
While you are turning wrenches, it would be a good
idea to get a new wiring harness from Painless Performance and replace the
fire-prone Renault chassis and dash harness.
