Yes. They are a very popular RV.

Driver side power window switch, bad faucet in Lavatory, poor venting on
sideways mounted fridge leads to premature death of fridge. Hard to get
parts for odd-ball kitchen cook top.

No more problems than any other Winnebago motorhome. The problem is getting
the chassis serviced. The Eurovan is no longer imported into the United
States, and VW will no longer certify it meets Federal emissions and crash
standards. Most VW dealerships do not stock replacement parts for the
Eurovan. Another problem is the motorhome is too big to go on the service
lifts at most VW dealerships.

Over all they are a good quality product. The Rialta is light-years better
than the Renault based Lasharo it replaced, but avoid the older 4 cylinder
Rialtas, the power trains are just too weak to carry a motorhome.

Last year Winnebago replaced the VW Eurovan based motorhomes with the
Mercedes (Dodge + Freightliner) Sprinter based models. While the Sprinter
Class Bs and Class Cs get BETTER fuel economy than the VWs did, they are
much bigger, and size was a main attraction to the little Rialta. The
Sprinter motorhomes are also having high rates of transmission failure.

If I was going to get a Rialta, I would look for one with the fridge mounted
against the outside wall. Also check the plumbing for leaks.
