Remembering the great traumas on this list (OK it was one of the 
previous incarnations of this list) many years ago when we and u.r.w 
were forced to go our separate ways I'm amazed that Google get away with 
a web gateway for newsgroups, given that we weren't allowed an email one.

I do miss u.r.w. but Orange don't allow Usenet access via GPRS. will 
have to investigate the above and see whether a mail gateway has been 
restored.
