I have been on URW for years, viewing it as a news group (as I do this
Canals group too) which I find is much the most convenient way to
participate in such forums.

However, I've just moved from dial-up to broadband, and TalkTalk
hasn't yet managed to get me and its news server talking.

So I too have been using Google Groups of late. But I find it very
cumbersome compared to news reader software (I use Free Agent).

So, in case TalkTalk never gets me in touch with its news server, can
anyone recommend another, not-USP-specific, news server I might use to
access URW?

Thanks.
