Yeah, i deffonatly agree with you on that.
 - As you say, the thames is nice, and its good to get on a dencent 
sized bit of water and give it a blast. But narrowcanal have more to 
offer and for longer. That said, we did operated several locks on 
theames dueing the unmanned hours.
