xfree86 4.2

I just put up a test release of xfree86 4.2. http://qnx4.wox.org/xf-4.2-qnx6.2-b1.tar.gz It is compiled in qnx6.2beta. 1) It includes all the xfree86 post 4.2 bug fixes in CVS. 2) It includes the new xfree86 4.2 based xphoton (thanks Garry for providing the source and cdm for pushing it). Rumor says this version of Xphoton works much much better than the old version. 3) It includes the rpath support as found in qnx6.2. so the library path are now embedded into the executables and you don't need to mess around with LD_LIBRARY_PATH Please try it out and send your comments and bug reports. I am planning to do another build to be included in the 3rd party software CD. Frank

OK, I just had some minor fixes and this is the final version, unless any of you find a major problem. http://qnx4.wox.org/xfree86-4.2-qnx6.2-tar.gz Frank On Sat, 11 May 2002, Frank Liu wrote: > > I just put up a test release of xfree86 4.2. > http://qnx4.wox.org/xf-4.2-qnx6.2-b1.tar.gz > > It is compiled in qnx6.2beta. > 1) It includes all the xfree86 post 4.2 bug fixes in CVS. > 2) It includes the new xfree86 4.2 based xphoton > (thanks Garry for providing the source and cdm for pushing it). > Rumor says this version of Xphoton works much much better > than the old version. > 3) It includes the rpath support as found in qnx6.2. > so the library path are now embedded into the executables > and you don't need to mess around with LD_LIBRARY_PATH > > Please try it out and send your comments and bug reports. > I am planning to do another build to be included in the > 3rd party software CD. > > Frank > > > _______________________________________________________________ > > Have big pipes?
