Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. more...

Re: SQLite Version Issues: msg#00024

Subject: Re: SQLite Version Issues
Deleting the old build directory is the step I missed.  Problem solved.

Thanks,
Charles

If the build directory was still there from the original build, it must be cleared in this case.

Hello,

I made the changes. Then ran "python setup.py build" and "python setup.py install" again, but sqlite_version still returns '3.1.3', and I'm still getting the "unsupported file format" error.

Is there anything else I can try?

Thanks,
Charles

Hello, it works here. At least you have to edit pysqlite setup.cfg:

[build_ext]
define=
include_dirs=/usr/local/include
library_dirs=/usr/local/lib
libraries=sqlite3

Hello,

I'm receiving "unsupported file format" errors when I try to execute
SQL statements using pysqlite.  Database created using SQLite 3.5.2.

I've installed SQLlite 3.5.2 from source, however pysqlite only sees
SQLite 3.1.3:

from pysqlite2 import dbapi2 as sqlite
sqlite.sqlite_version
'3.1.3'

I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.11,  how do I get pysqlite to use SQLite
3.5.2?

Thanks,
Charles
