My only reason for continued use of Python 2.1 is Zope which, as of
version 2.6.x, still requires that version.
This is changing, though, as newly released Zope 2.7 requires Python
2.3.
I expect that in a few months many installations will switch and, as you
told, psycopg 1.1.x will support the remaining ones.

I second your decision.
