Hi Brian, the Cheetah.Template module has a lot of depencies and it simply takes a while to load them all. If you're using Cheetah with WebKit then you should be aware that only the initial import will show this delay. Python caches imported modules and thus this initial import time doesn't really affect long running processes like WebKit.
