Subject: Buildbot and Perforce

Hi,

I am really interested in using buildbot as our build system here but I am having trouble combing perforce with a build slave. Perofrce and it’s view and client are set up correctly for the buildslave, but when attempting to run a build it fails.

In master.cfg I am calling P4 like this: source = s(step.P4Sync, p4port=”192.168.0.80:1666”, mode=”copy”)

The error returned in the log file:

Is there anyone out there that has got this system to work with Perforce because I cannot seem to find a lot of documentation on it. Please email me at this address if you have any info.

I’d really appreciate some help.

Regards,

Tony Walker
