gcc error: msg#00092python.apple
When running 10.3.3 and MacPython2.3, I get the following error when attempting to install numeric 23.1: .......... building '_numpy' extension gcc -fno-strict-aliasing -Wno-long-double -no-cpp-precomp -mno-fused-madd -fno-common -dynamic -DNDEBUG -g -O3 -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -IInclude -IPackages/FFT/Include -IPackages/RNG/Include -I/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.3/include/python2.3 -c Src/ufuncobject.c -o build/temp.darwin-7.3.0-Power_Macintosh-2.3/Src/ufuncobject.o gcc: unrecognized option `-no-cpp-precomp' gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1': No such file or directory error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1 I believe I have the most recent gcc installed.
