That's what I thought of first, but that way I can't import Swig wrapped C++/Python libraries, right? That's my primary problem. 

Or do you suggest that I wrap everything for Java and use Jython to import it 
from/over Java? That looks errorprone and slow to me, but I must admit that I 
didn't try it ...
