That's great; thanks a lot.  I don't know if this is a problem with 
other
extension languages (I'd guess that it is with perl5), but if it is, I'd
encourage other language groups to implement this new %feature.

As to a name, I'd suggest "nonExtendible".  Not elegant, but accurate.
