I saw there was a bug report for this, but it was dated 8 months ago
with no updates, and I was wondering if there is any work arounds for
it. Essentially if the virtual base class has methods with throw
specifiers, they do not get carried over into the derived director
class. For most compilers this isn't a big deal, but gcc3 does not
like this and treats is as an error. I'm using swig 1.3.21. Are there
any patches available that resolve this or does anyone know if there is
a way to force gcc to not treat this as an error?
