Yep. Actually, I discovered some pretty interesting things about OS X
while looking at this warning. For instance, the warning message
magically goes away depending on *where* Python is installed on the
machine. Moreover, I couldn't find any kind of configuration file for
gcc that would specify such behavior. After digging a little further
into the gcc executable, I found that it's been hardwired to silence
this specific warning if a file is located in either of two system
directories (/usr/include and /System/Library/Frameworks). Now,
that's some kind of weird Apple related hack.... ugh.
