Looking for pragmatic installers

Hi,

I need some pointers on good simple crossplatform installers builders.
(preferably freeware).  I am looking for something which can create
installer for Windows and AIX.  

Basically I need Something that can copy the file in selected
directory and create an uninstall script. No fany ui needed. 

VAInstall (http://vainstall.sourceforge.net) looked promising. But I
could not make it work. InnoSetup etc are windows only.

Any pointers ?
