I agree completely with your point, Michael, that people should find their own rhythm. But for a lot of people, especially a few years ago, if you told them to find the shortest cycle that allows meaningful work to be done, they'd say, "You mean as fast as quarterly?" I haven't yet done more than peek in XP2E, so I don't know what Kent might have intended this time around. But certainly the previous edition challenged a lot of people to move beyond what they thought was possible, and I'd hope that this retained some of that flavor.
