I was convinced that we should try to write some tools as plugins in Eclipse. There's a steep learning curve to get things working. I like this sort of challenge and cracked it with some afternoons and evenings. I was the coach so I broke the rules and just did it. It energized me. As lead developer too, I then paired (pushed/pulled) with people, to get a release out. However I'd left people behind. My energies were enough to push it out, but it became "the thing you have to pair with Oli on". It wasn't energized work. Technically, I still like what I'd done, but I'd failed to get anybody else energised about it. There was nobody to carry the torch, and as coach you have to move on. It died quickly. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Make a clean sweep of pop-up ads. Yahoo! Companion Toolbar. Now with Pop-Up Blocker.
