It's very difficult to help you without knowing any information
on your configuration, especially :

        CUPS version
        PyKota version
        availability of PostgreSQL and the PygreSQL libraries
        on your system
        Python's version
        PyKota's configuration files
        Syslog's LPR facility's output
        CUPS' error_log file in "LogLevel debug2" mode
        Printer brand(s) and model(s)
        
I'd suggest that you post all this to PyKota's mailing list,
after having subscribed to it at
