Problems with cups filtering

Hi,

I have a problem with cups 1.1.19 while Printing from SUN Solaris 2.6 to cups 
via cups-lpd.

Everytime I send an printjob to my printer cups in error_log there is an entry 
"hpgltops" but my file isn't a hpgl one. 
How can i manage to print to cups without filters beeing accessed (raw-queue!) ?
When I send the file directly to the Printer everything is okay, but cups 
converts it from "hpgl" to "ps" and nothing comes out of the printer. The 
printer's "Data"-light is on for a short period of time, but nothing happens.

Is it possible to print via cups without using filters but hav accounting?
