device list empty when installing printer: msg#00339printing.cups.general
Hello, I have installed cups version 1.1.17. I can start it and even see the following in the Loglevel debug mode: D [29/Sep/2003:08:16:50 +0200] LoadDevices: Added device "parallel:/dev/lp0"... D [29/Sep/2003:08:16:50 +0200] LoadDevices: Added device "http"... D [29/Sep/2003:08:16:50 +0200] LoadDevices: Added device "ipp"... D [29/Sep/2003:08:16:50 +0200] LoadDevices: Added device "lpd"... D [29/Sep/2003:08:16:50 +0200] LoadDevices: Added device "smb"... D [29/Sep/2003:08:16:50 +0200] LoadDevices: Added device "ptal:/mlc:usb:photosmart_7350"... D [29/Sep/2003:08:16:50 +0200] LoadDevices: Added device "scsi"... This looks good, as I want to install a photosmart 7350 When I go in the addprinter screen, the device list appears as empty ... Any ideas ? Thanks |
