Cups web interface hangs when canceling a job

I am having a hard time with cups.  It won't cancel a job through the web 
interface.  It just hangs there.  Ever since I installed cups our servers lock 
up after a certain amount of time when they try to cancel a job.  I am running 
Redhat Advanced Server 2.1 and 2.4.9-e.27enterprise kernel.  Someone please 
help.
