alignmargins - printer ignores settings: msg#00148printing.cups.general
I have a Minolta PagePro 1100 here, running under CUPS with the pxlmono ppd .. when running alignmargins as described on the linuxprinting.org page, I can get the margin to show up all around the page. When then clicking on the "print test page" link on the cups-administration page (localhost:631, that thing), I see a black margin around the test page. Fine so far. But when I try to print a normal text file as a user or as root, it is still printed from edge of paper to edge of paper, i.e. parts of it are not showing. What do I have to do for the margins to also apply to text-files? printed just with "lpr <nameoffile>" I'm kinda confused here, haven't seen this behaviour mentioned anywhere. -- Michael Hellwig aka The Eye olymp.idle.at admin check out http://homepage.uibk.ac.at/~csaa5128 for gpg public key and don't hesitate to look at http://laerm.or.at |
