UserName Help

Hi,

We need to replace the user name on the ipp reqest recivied by the cups server 
to unique names. (For accounting purpose)

<b>so on the client side:</b>
So for linux clients we can alter the source. But for the windows machines 
which are directly configured as http://cupsseverip:631/printers/printer we 
need to replace the windows user login name with the unique id in the ipp 
header.

Could you tell us how this could be done.


<b>What we tried:</b>
we tried running a progam which listen at port 9999 on the windows client and 
forwards the content to cupserverip:631 and also displays the content 
transferred.

We could get the printer configured at the local port 9999 but when ever a 
print request was given we could only see a set of ascii characters on the 
screen but could not locate the username.
