Subject: New rootfs posted... : Re: suspend/resume again - msg#00025
List: linux.ports.h2200
Ok,
I put a new rootfs and ancillary necessary files here:
http://www.dfw-hite.homeip.net/ipaq-h2200/11052005
That rootfs has GPE, prism3 tools/firmware so WIFI should be good,
newest kernel available as of 11/05/2005, built for MMC, NFS and/or CF
boot.
What I'd really be interested in, if anyone has the chance to check this
out, is if the BT can connect to anything, and your logs don't get HCI
Unknown Packet errs. Also, check out if you get good battery status
reads. That seems to have broken over the past couple weeks, yet
everything looks good from the kernel perspective.
Lastly, I built the FB and graphics support into the kernel so you can
see the pretty GPE boot image. No more 'dark penguin' while you wait for
boot.
I left the older stuff here:
http://www.dfw-hite.homeip.net/ipaq-h2200/11052005
in case someone still wants that. I'll remove that one in a week or so.

I have a bluetooth dongle setup as a gateway/router/proxy that I can test your
image with.
As it's controlled by a single-purpose Xen domain I can easily reconfigure it
as necessary.
In theory it looks a little like:
http://marcusbrutus.cust.internode.on.net/Computers/v0-4-3/Xen_Firewall_0_4_33
Let me know if/when you're ready.

Re: New rootfs posted... : Re: suspend/resume again
Hi
Haven't had the time yet to play with this, looks good to start with
(nice splash ;), but seems to freeze on a dialog
"SanDisk SDP card not yet configured"
Touchscreen and buttons do not respond.
I'll look into it after tea.
Marcus.
