If you grab the orignal 2.3.99-pre3 (test3?) kernel that Intel
released (was at netwinder.org originally, not sure if still
there), Intel added a large number of APIs to provide board level
information to the Intel SDK components. They're not well
documented but self-explanatory if you have that code. I might
have a copy of that tree laying around somewhere if it's
not longer available anywhere.
