Does anybody know whether dependency system for 2.6.x kernel is same as
2.4.x kernel?
The 2.4.x dependency system depends on being able to `touch' include files
in case of recursive dependencies. This fails when using a revision control
system (e.g. ClearCase) where non-checked out files are read-only and cannot
be
touch'ed.
Is there a patch available to solve this problem for 2.6.x kernel or this
problem is already solved in this kernel.
