Hello there,
running Linux on a AT91RM9200DK system is fine.
When I stick a USB memory stick onto one of the USB
host ports it gets detected. Unplugging works too.
On x86 machines the stick gets supprt via SCSI
emulation. I try to add SCSI support to the ARM
kernel with make xconfig.
Kicking "make dep clean zImage"
complains about not having ide.h.
Did someone manage to attach such device
to a ARM machine and even mount it??
Here is my current running kernel:
> [root@AT91RM9200DK /root]$cat /proc/version
> Linux version 2.4.19-rmk6 (arm9@tic) \
> (gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)) #3 \
> Son Dez 7 19:18:14 CET 2003
Yes, I applied all patches that came with the board CD.
My host is a Suse8.2 System attached via tftp-nfs-telnet.
Kdevelop, Kdbg, arm-linux-gdb, gdbserver all work proper.
Any hint how I may setup the system properly??
ThanX for your support
Jens Michaelsen
