Biographical Note 
NEW PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF ALBANIA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS

Albania’s new Permanent  Representative to the United Nations, Adrian 
Neritani, presented his  credentials to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan today.
Prior to this assignment, Mr.  Neritani worked as a lawyer with a private 
legal firm, Cullison &  Cullison, P.C., in Chicago, United States 
(2003-present). 
 In 2000-2001,  also in Chicago, he was an independent adviser on immigration 
issues for trade  and international business.
Mr. Neritani started his  diplomatic career in 1991, when he became a Desk 
Officer in charge of the  United States at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of 
Albania.  He remained  with the Ministry until 1999, serving as a Desk Officer 
in charge of China and  the Far East (1993-1997), and First Secretary and 
Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., at  Albania’s Embassy in Beijing, China (1997-1998).
