Arab Enmity
Professor Bernard Lewis describes this enmity

     "There are many passages in the Qu'ran and in the biography and 
traditions of the Prophet, in which hard words are used about the Jews. 
These passages are concerned, for the most part, with the Prophet's own 
conflict with the Jews, in which he was completely victorious."

     "....the Qu'ran stipulates, the Jews are Islam's worst enemies. `Thou 
wilt find the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe 
(to be) the Jews and the idolaters.' (5:82) Thus, the Qu'ran leaves no 
doubt that although they are `People of the Book', the Jews nevertheless 
have virulent hatred toward Islam and Muslims, and therefore are 
implacable enemies who must be punished severely--both as individuals and 
as a community/people for their transgressions. Moreover, the Believers 
are ordered to wage war against those who rejected God's message--the 
Jews. `Fight against such of those who have been give the Scripture as 
believe not in Allah nor the Last Day....Allah (Himself) fighteth against 
them. how perverse they are!' (9:29-30) And Islamdom has obeyed the 
Qu'ran."

     When Martin Indyk, who was the ambassador to Israel, left Israel he 
told the Jerusalem Post:

     "I don't believe that Arafat ever really gave up violence as a tool to 
achieving his objectives..."

     The "peace process," has been a fraud from the beginning, violated in 
spirit and in fact and Charles Krauthammer, writing in the Jerusalem Post.

     "Oslo's basic premise was even more fundamentally violated. After all, 
it was not `land for cease-fire'; it was "land for peace." Meaning, not 
just nonviolence, but recognition by the Palestinians and the Arab world 
of the legitimacy of Israel."

nonacceptance of Israel and their disdain for the "peace" they had signed. 
Within months of Oslo, in a speech in South Africa, Arafat analogized Oslo 
to the treaty that Muhammad signed with the Quraysh."
