You know, I wonder if the same point can be made about
any group out of power that then has power.  Say
Isreal and the Palestinians.
Most Jewish people I meet are tolerant, nice people. 
Most Palestinians, Syrians I meet are too.

Amos Oz made a good point in his recent book that the
fallacy of the Isreali view regarding Palestinians is
that the other Arabs do not think of them as Arabs and
hence keep them homeless.  I agree with him that there
has to be a two-state solution, but not a Swiss cheese
state solution.
