moderator's note: removal of tiresome blowhard

I have removed the tedious halfwit "Aaron" from the list.  Like I said, it's
not acceptable to engage in a "debate" about whether there was a massacre at
Srebrenica.  I am not about to accept any posting of the rants of Jared
Israel on this list, an obscure character who has as much credibility on the
Balkans as the Institute for Historical Review or Robert Faurisson have on
the Nazi gas chambers.

Whether we want to discuss the political implications of the
incontrovertible fact of a massacre at Srebrenica is another story.  I am
personally irritated by the red herring that this issue became when "Aaron"
entered the discussion.  Legitimate issues include Milosevic's "command
responsibility"; the fact that Milosevic's trial is occurring in the
Netherlands where the cabinet has resigned over charges of culpability in
the Netherlands -- and, my own favorite point, that the recent row about the
massacre in the Netherlands is occurring at the same time as the emergence
of more and more details about the massacre at Jenin.  There are political
points to be made here.  Debating whether the massacre "ever really
happened," however, is the height of stupidity, and not worth our time (nor
worth the entry into the moral and ethical pigsty that it involves).
