    In regards to the message from Macdonald Stainsby
on the thousands of detained Arabs in the US: There
has been a slow reaction to the kidnappings in this
country. However, La Resistencia did happen to
champion a National Day of Solidarity last month
(February 20) that was sponsored by many progressive
groups including the Peace and Freedom party. A
prominent Arab lawyer (Randall Hamud) had actually
volunteered to speak at a cultural event on that day,
but I am not sure how that  event went because I was
at school during that time. For more information the
